KwaZulu Natal

Storms River Mouth Spread along the East Coast of Southern Africa, KZN or Kwazulu Natal is one of the few regions in the world which can boast the ability of catering to almost any tourist need. From the majestic mountains of the Drakensberg to the crashing waves off the coast, KZN offers a variety of reasons to visit. Known internationally for it's beauty coupled with the big city buzz of Durban, KZN combines it all.

The sunshine along the coastal areas draws national and international tourists alike with the South Coast and North Coast areas offering accommodation from simple camping and cottages right through to some of the most luxurious hotels in the world. Steeped in history and home of the proud Zulu nation, KZN really does offer it all.

Game Reserves abound, particularly in the Northern KZN areas with parks like Hluhluwe; Mkhuzi and many more offering visitors numerous choices. Scuba diving is a popular, particularly in the areas of Sodwana and Umkomaas. Why not make Margate or Southbroom your base and enjoy traversing the coast, from the lovely golf courses to deep sea fishing. Staysa.co.za offers you an opportunity to choose from many an accommodation option. Bed and Breakfast alternatives or select one of our many self catering private homes.

KZN is easily reached either by car on good tarred roads from all centres or by air from any other major destination in South Africa. Approximate driving time from Johannesburg to Durban/KZN is around 6 hours or a flying time of a little over an hour.

Durban itself can get a little crowded over the December and January months but the nearby resort town of Unhlanga Rocksoffers a lovely alternative only a short, 15 minute drive from Durban. C;ick on our map to seach for accommodation options in this region or send us an e-mail and we will assist you with all your accommodation requirements.
